I’ve taught dance for a long time and I’ve seen a lot of daddy daughter dances in my days. Yeah, it’s weird and kind of scary for the dads, but the audience is without fail so delighted to see them and very supportive of their efforts. It doesn’t matter how good or bad you are, or if you mess stuff up. It’s the fact that you’re willing to go up there and support your kiddos that they respond to.

If it helps, the lights make it so you can’t see much of the audience, which I find reassuring. You’re going to rock it!
